The Diocese of Charleston will offer a special Mass for healing and peace as the Lowcountry commemorates the one-year anniversary of the deadly shooting at Emanuel AME Church, and the country mourns those who lost their lives in the massacre in Orlando, FL. Father Joseph Romanoski, Dean of the Coastal Deanery, will celebrate the Mass on Wednesday, June 15, at 7 p.m. The Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive. During the Mass, prayers will be offered for the victims and survivors of both tragedies and all victims of violence.
Please consider joining us for this special Mass so we as a Catholic community can join our voices in prayer for the souls of those who died, for healing for those who were injured, and for the gift of peace for those who survived.
If you have any questions regarding the Mass, please contact Maria Aselage, Director of Media Relations, at 843-513-7605 or at maria@catholic-doc.org.
