The Holy Name Society is a fraternal organization which mirrors the rich history of the Church and is committed to serve the parish and surrounding community. As a 501(c)3 organization, we are focused on efforts to better serve our community and its citizens through charity and service.
Given its overwhelming success last year, we are proud to announce the THIRD ANNUAL HOLY NAME SOCIETY CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT on Sunday, 25 September, 2016 at Patriots Point Links in Mt. Pleasant. The event features a Captain’s Choice tournament with a 1:00 pm shotgun start and a full awards dinner to follow.
Your generosity last year helped us contribute over $6,650 in scholarships and related educational support for students at Charleston Catholic School along with seminarian support. In addition, another $1,550 was offered as donations to charitable organizations, such as St. Vincent de Paul Society and Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, in support of those in need. Additional contributions were provided for the physical maintenance and beautification of the Church and grounds. We hope you will be participating again this year so we can continue these efforts and perhaps even increase our role in community support.
