Candlemas – Feast of Presentation of the Lord is celebrated on Tuesday 2 February 2021. Mass will be at at 12pm. Candlemas is a solemnity celebrating Jesus’ presentation at the temple. It is one of the oldest feasts and has been celebrated since the 4th century. It is customary to bless candles on this day for use in the church and home. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has a new COVID-19 vaccine educational resource: Answers to Key Ethical Questions About COVID-19 Vaccines. The purpose of the document is to provide concise answers to the most frequently asked ethical questions about COVID-19 vaccines and to provide additional resources for further study.
