Hurricane Irma Cancellations

September 8, 2017
08 Sep 2017

God of heaven and earth, God who carries our lives and the lives of our whole community in your hands, be with us as we prepare for the impact of Hurricane Irma. Help us to release our anxieties and fears into those same caring hands, knowing in faith that your will for us is life and everlasting good. Send your holy angels to watch over us and guard us. May they spread their holy wings to give us shelter against the storm. For you alone, O God, are all good, all life, all love, and that love is for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Parishioners:

Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Irma, the parish offices are closed until Wednesday morning. All Sunday School classes and parish activities and 12:05 daily Mass have been cancelled until Thursday 14 September.

Bishop Guglielmone has dispensed all Catholics from the obligation to attend Holy Mass this Sunday due the potential impact of the hurricane. At the present time the 5:30 pm Vigil Mass and 9 am & 11:15 Sunday Masses will be offered (the 6pm Mass is cancelled).  However, if an evacuation is ordered all weekend Masses will be cancelled.

Please be assured that you and your family are in my prayers!

Msgr. Steve Brovey
